Pre-Crusher
Compactors are designed to reduce waste volume and to destroy
product to prevent reuse. Pre-Crushers offer maximum compaction
ratios for Transfer Stations operations.

Description of Operation:
In pre-crusher mode,
the pre-crusher gate starts in the down position, blocking the
end of the charge chamber from the refuse container. As the
compactor ram moves forward, it compacts the refuse against
the gate to 100% compaction force. The ram then retracts enough
to relieve pressure on the gate and the gate raises to it's
upper position. The ram then continues its forward travel, compacting
the crushed refuse into the container.
